Am I missing something...... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3647882480&category=40

You are not missing a thing. That color combination combined with the running man was used well after that era of pump.

That looks just like the one I have on my desk. I bought it a while back for $9.95.
What's the difference that makes this one special???

My guess is that the seller is having a couple of his friends put some bids in for him with the hope that someone will jump in with a higher bid. Take a look at the bidders (click on the # of bid), two of them are new to ebay.

Yes, and I also took a look at what else the current higher has won in the past.
one item was another overinflated repop sign. I just cant believe that people throw money away on repop stuff that will more than likely only be transferred to another
similar buyer/bidder down the line in the years to come. From what I gather, that's some serious dosh he's throwing at a ten dollar or less item! Glad it's his wallet!!

HAPPY COLLECTING IN YEAR 2004!!!
