What was the second arm used for under the sign? an additional spot for another sign to hang or perhaps the bottom of the larger shield required it to be secured??? The shield looks like a 56" that's allot of sign hanging up there.. only reason I ask, I purchased one las year & was thinking about displaying options...

don't know if I'm seeing things or not but looks like it has straps going up to stabilize the sign from swinging .. ...

I see what you're seeing.... good eye!!! It's really hard to see in the photo, but there's something there for sure .....it makes sense though to stabilize it to prevent it from moving around too much on windy days or inclement weather in general... I'm going to keep my eyes out in other photos I may come across & see if I can notice any type of additional mounting on the lower portion of the sign. Maybe another member seeing this may have more knowledge as well on the subject and chimes in... curiosity has the best of me now
