Here's my week's finds. The Marquette MN glass oil can with the 1922 spout was my most exciting find this past week. I like the bottle's unique shape. The rest of the items were just proof I have an obsession with old gas stuff.

Another internet ad reply turned up this original Illinois Route 66 sign. Picked one can on my way back from picking up the sign.

Picked up this Eco meter the other day. It seems to be in good shape. Someone liked Gulf at one time. The base is busted and I need one if anybody has one for sale. I plan to paint it back red. It would be nice if it worked. I guess I will give it a try soon. Its going to go on my gas pump island this summer (the same one I should have finished a year ago).

Had a good week, got a few things;
A single lens to fill a hole in a body I had, thanx Joe;

I saw a great collection and bought a can rack. Made by Modern Metal in about 1958 or so. It is in the 2nd pump book, page 212. Great original condition, both signs, doors, keys, spout and containers inside. Now I need more cans. Thanks Jimmy;

Got the bottom right anti freeze can off another Old Gasser;

Some really nice early items on this page. I'm just happy to come across anything these days....! Finally got this 6' B/A sign, it is going on a pole in the yard. Also found a pile of 1950s gas station literature/posters/ads - hours of entertainment.

Here is one of my buys this week, mind you, I am new, but I have not seen any cans this size, so I found it interesting, plus the graphics are great.

My buys of the week. I believe everything is original except the Gulfpride motor oil sign (came in a package deal for $13), and the DINO globe body (the lenses are glass originals). The Firezoneoil sign with the dutch writing below it is vintage, but I have no idea on a value or the decade it's from. Can't find much out about it. The black tool box with keys is off a Model T. Couldn't pass it up for 40 bucks. The wife says I'm DONE for a while. I guess my next shopping experience will be a valentine for her :-)

Sorry, being 50 I don't see the 70's as old,LOL. I often forget I'm not 18 and it's not 1978 anymore.

I won't use the word OLD to ever describe something from the 70s. It can still be original though and not a repro from that era. Your 50? That's young for an oil/gas collector given who shows up at swap meets and auctions :-) The average age I'd say around here in MI is 62 to 70.
