Does anybody know who is making the 30" diameter porcelain repops. A couple of them showed up at an auction in SC recently. They seem to be coming from the North and South Carolina areas. This is one example 120674685902.

Also look at the last item he sold ....Mack die cut bull dog & read the description ! Very mis-leading & the way he describes the materiel of sign??????????it's porcelain ,why would he describe it that way when he has simply described "porcelain ,on other listings" it seems a little fishy to me! I highly doubt you will get to the real source of that sign! good luck!

I recieved this message the other day;

Help me out here, but leave me out of it. Have you noticed that this eBay seller "oldjunque74" has a lot of new signs made the same way as the stuff Lacy51 is showing up with? Both have some sort of connection with the repop king Bruce Haddle of the old AAA Sign Co in Ohio. I can't pin down the source of these signs, but without question in my mind, Lacy51 and oldjunque74 are using the same sign maker. In the end, I think the source of the trail will point to Bruce, but it may be too early to be sure of this part of the story.

These (30" GLOBE signs) have been around for a long time. 12 years maybe ?

Hey guys those 30" double sided porcelain signs are nothing new, I've been buying them since the mid 90's, there has to be thousands of them out there. Most were made out of the country (not China) While I won't drop any names, they are being sold by reputable top sign sellers all over the US.

For the most part, they are nice signs and constructed pretty well. None of them to my knowledge is marked. While I'm sure it's possible - I really don't know of any personally that were sold as originals. I mean if you see a mint Texaco Black "T" sign for $300-$400 you got to know it's a pop right?

By the way, the Pure Oil sign is not one of the older signs - it's a new product!

Regards

Mike

Greetings guys - Just thought I would save you some time - I just looked at the oldjunk74 store and there isn't one sign that is the same as Lacie51. I don't even know this guy!

Regards

Mike

How did asking about a 30" repop turn into attacking Mike Mas?
