I restored this one ten years ago. Lid is porcelain. Likely my favorite pump in my collection.

Nice 80s guys!! One of my favorite pumps for sure. Here's my 2 80s. One is a Mobilgas Martin Schwartz and the other is a Frontier Wayne with a hard to find factory ad glass top with factory globe holder. DIESEL posted a pic of his. This pump probably was used to fill bulk trucks as it has an extra gallon wheel on its Veeder Root computer with a cooling fan on its electric motor. Thanks, Rod

Wow those are really neat pumps. I never realized that the letters lit up on some of those. I always thought it was embossed metal like on an old coke machine.

Uploaded with ImageShack.usUploaded with ImageShack.usThe first picture is what the pump looked like the day I bought it off my third grade teachers farm. Her daughter actually cried the day I took it away, she said she just remembered pumping gas into her car as a kid. I had no idea a pump could mean so much. I was planning on keeping the pump but my dads friend really wanted so I restored to his taste and it now has a good home not to far from me. So I still get to see it on occasion
Originals only for me. Always looking for Simpson oil, Super A, and MFA oil cans and globes. Shawn Morris

Before . . .
And after . . .
This pump came to me through Chris, so it's part of the 'permanent collection'.
I've got two (2) more M&S 80's, so I guess I need to take the camera out to the display Room and take some shots.
Later . . .
Jim

At least Arnold isn't telling us "you can't drive more than 55mph with a trailer...you might hurt yourself" I'll figure it out before my next posting of pictures. I'm doing a Signal wall in the new garage. Should be put together in the next few months. (it's a drag that work get in the way of fun time) Joe

Thanks Rod! Thought I'd show mine. I have restored afew though the years and unfortunately had to sell some too.... Mobil script top, Sioux and a few Conoco ad glass top. The one in bare bones will be a Frontier platium.... close to what I did for Rod, but different. It's something to honor my girlfriends dad. He owned a Beeline /Frontier station in the 60's/ 70's. And no... he didnt keep anything from the station... it was just junk back then...LOL. Lyle
