eBay auction #140520830493. Seller is not sure if it is the real deal or not. I think it may be the real deal. Any one else think the same?

Hope your kidding, this seller has already informed us he knows everything about signs, He would not be asking 600. for a 3000 sign if it "Might" be real. Just deceiving information to fool uneducated buyers.

Not Real

I matched it to a pic of a 100% real one.... tire is too sharp, borders are to wide, wings struts dont touch the wing...

After reading the seller's posts on here awhile back, I wouldn't be spending any money with him. JM2C.

now look at them.. It looks like the last one is real, with lots of touch up.

Yes...the last one is real and it could be yours smile It does have a lot of touch ups...but is the real mccoy... I sold one a few months ago that had lettering on the back (it was an original)...the one we have on ebay does not have the lettering on the back...I guess some had it and some didnt...

Border, prop, the font on the lettering under SOCONY, the tire above the I, I'm sure there is more. I wrote this guy to tell him that he could change his listing from "Since we cannot say with any certainly that this piece is original, (though it might be) we priced it accordingly in this listing," to THIS IS A FAKE P.O.S. In nicer words ofcourse, as all I was doing is trying to inform him. He has an excuse for every discrepansy with this fake sign, although he's not saying it's real???. It's almost hilarious, I should post all of his replies on here for you to veiw.

The backs of every original I have ever seen are the old style white porcelain with the small round pock marks.

Here's a few pics of another one we had a while back...the difference is always in the details...The back on this one had some odd lettering etched in (possiby a code of some sort?)

I was going to make a .99 cent offer, but the freight is $28.00! Wouldn't that be something! LOL
