Jack Sim's book says this pump is valued at $1,800. So, would that be the going rate to purchase this pump in generally good, unrestored condition? Glass cylinder has one BB hole, but otherwise cylinder looks good.

The original brass ID plates, Underwriter's Lab etc are missing but it comes with repo plates. Probably needs new hose and nozzle.

Would this be a good or so-so buy at $1,500.

Heres one that I have for sale at $1250. They normally bring from $1000 to $1600, depending on condition! Condition is everything!

If you were a lot closer to central Texas, I would gladly take a look at what you have. Does yours have an original glass cylinder? What about the internal parts - pump, etc?

I'd say maybe $1000 or so excellent. And "one BB hole in the cylinder" is a $300 hit at least to value. $1500 is way too high.

I sold one with a good orginal glass cylinder here in Southern California a year ago for $1400. It was unrestored. It is now in San Diego.

The guy wanted a T-176 and there were no others to choose from.

Good clean pump with a good cylinder is $1000 easy.

Looking for anything from Hoosier Pete, Platolene 500 and Red Bird.
