Hi All
I have been asked by a friend here in the U.K, to see if i can locate a lighted Mobilgas sign. He wants one from the 50's, i just can't think i have ever seen anything like that for sale, but then again maybe i just haven't been looking!! He is a bit brief in his description but it would have to be lighted or one he could convert.

Thanks Tony.

Thanks for the response, however i should have been more specific (My Fault).... he wants something that would have been displayed on the garage or forecourt, he does not mind repo. I would assume this sign would have just been a tin sign anyhow, maybe he's seen something. He doesn't have interenet so i am trying to help him out.

Try showing your friend a mini globe that would have been mounted on a sconce on the pillars or by the doors of a gas station. I believe I have seen old photos of brick pillars with a round globe of some kind with a pegasus on it. Just can't remember where I would have seen something like that.
