WHAT WAS THEY STORY BEHIND THE TOKHEIM 300 WITH THE PLACTIC GREEN TOP I SAW ONE TODAY AND HAVE NOT SEEN ONE BEFORE,ARE THEY COMMON TOPS AND WHY DID THEY MAKE THEM LIKE THAT? THANKS SCOTT

They were made for Conoco. There was a red top one also.

scott the fiberglass tops were used after the ad glass curved tops i have a red and green from the late fifties and early sixties, the light bulbs inside illuminates the whole top if someone hasn't put to many coats of paint on it. you don't run across these very often so good find. It's also the only time conoco used the green triangle emblem and a black diesel triangle with black fiberglass top which i have not seen yet, Also the green petro restoration book shows good descsription and pictures of these under conoco section and here's picture i found one day don't remember who's these are Laroy

I have a few of these pumps, bought them because I thought they were unique and cool. (and cheap)

The tops are faded from the sun on mine.

THANKS FOR THE HELP MINE IS JUST LIKE THE GREEN ONE BUT HAS THE ORIGANAL GREEN SIGNS THE TOP IS IN VERY GOOD SHAPE NO CRACKS ECT.I WILL POST A PICTURE LATTER TODAY.

Thanks i im going to clean it and will post some more pictures light up anybody know what watt light bulb to us there is 25 watts in there know but they look to bid help thanks scott

Gladmyou posted on here you have your messages blocked or something i can not pm you. you should have them friday or saturday.if not pm. I had a lot of trouble getting a good box for this that would hold to gettter and get it to you in one peace.I send off two carbs and they seam to have got lost in the mail and have been trying to find where they ended up,like a dumme i did not get a tracking number on them that will not happen again i hope every body else has got there stuff.There is a couple thing i sent out at the same time as yours.if there is anybody that did not get there stuff please let me know.Thanks scott

Does any body know what the cover on the side looks like or have on my is broke looks like it was plastic it cover the small light bulb above the gas nozel,and what size bulb to put in it? What is a fare value on one of this today? Thanks Scott
