Some idiot torched off all 4 cabinet rails on the Wayne 60 narrow body pump I want to restore. I could use complete rails or butt weld in pieces so I will consider most anything available. If pieces, they would need to be 18 to 20 inches in length. What do you have?

Thank you for your response. As you can probably guess with me pieceing in the bottom rails, this is a economy restoration. Tell me where you are located, what you have that I can use and your asking price. Ed S.

See what you can come up with. 4 Pieces need to be straight & 20" long. This is a low budget restoration and I just can't justify nice straight full length ones so I will have to piece them together. Thanks for your response to my post. Ed S.

Dick, tell me what you need for the 2 rails and the bent one. If I can afford them I would like to buy them from you. Eddy

I am still looking for rails for my narrow body Wayne 60. So far no responses. I can use complete straight ones, straight 4 pieces 20" length. Email what you have and contact info to essco3@gmail.com.

Hello Eddy, Ed in Tucson. The first Wayne 60 I ever restored was a rusted-out mess. The rails were rotted away at the bottoms. I took the rails to a welding shop and had them duplicate the one good piece I had. I would be happy to give you dimensions from one of my narrow body pumps so that you could have a shop duplicate/repair yours to the correct length. They could weld on new angle to make the correct length and the repair would be near the bottom so it would be less noticable. Also your side panels, if not cut, would be a basis for repair to correct length. If you can't get replacement rails that is. Let me know if I can help. Ed.

Thank you for your response and suggestions. If I can't find any usable pieces I will take 2" X 1/4" angle iron and mill the profile needed to make the 4 pieces and weld splice them to what I have. I would appreciate your measuring one of your pumps and giving me an overall length of a complete rail.

Just read your reply, I went out to the garage and measured all 3 of my original, unrestored Wayne 60 narrow bodies. I put the tape on the base, measured up the rail to where it meets the shoulder piece. 5 foot 2 and 3/4 inches. Can someone else please "verify" the same for Eddy? We don't want him being off if he has to make new rails. Ed.
