Are the plastic GULF signs worth collecting? I have a large GULF sign, probably 5' or 6' in diameter. I know it may not be very old but just curious if anybody knows the value of any of the plastic or acrylic signs.

JRS - I HAD TWO. WON IT ON EBAY DROVE FROM L.I. TO BOSTON TO GET IT. THE GUY OFFERED ME A 2ND ONNE FOR THE SAME PRICE AS THE FIRST. SO BOTH COST ME $50! I SOLD ONE FOR $100! SO THAT PAID FOR THE ONE I KEPT AND ALOT IF NOT ALL THE GAS ON THAT ROADTRIP!
IF YOUR SIGN IS 6' PLASTIC I'D SAY BETWEEN $50-100 IN VALUE IF IN GOOD SHAPE. ADD ABOUT $25 FOR THE ALUMINUM BLUE TRIM RING IF THERE.
HOPE THIS HELPS!

JRS, I primarly collect plastic signs, and I agree - $50-$100 is a good price - and the trim ring should boost the price up. Brady
