If you got the $$$ seems fair to me considering what these sell for at the major auction houses

there are only a very few amount of collectors ready to shell out that kind of coin for a sign and many of them don't check oldgas. I would consign it to matthews if it was me.

That sale was a fluke and was bought by the retired insurance broker from New Orleans who had just sold his agency that insures ALL of the oil industry down there. He obviously had someone else with deep pockets bidding with him.
