36-40?? I arrived at this number by selling one or two, buying more and then not really knowing how to count. Of course if I actually count I might scare myself and not buy one for at least a good week:)

Use to have over 150 pumps and was told "What was I going to do make a fence." Sold a bunch and now down to about 30, and have had a chance to buy back some finished ones.

Had as many as 16, but in recent years down sized my inventory to about 8.

31 at one time and now just 1 reproduction pump. It's my version of a grandfather clock.

I've had more in the past, but now I'm down to 8;3 restored,2 in what I consider displayable condition as found and 3 unrestoted I'm going to sell.

At this point I'm concentrating on building a brand specific replica station of some sort, then I'll get a few appropriate pumps.

Just got my first one. I've been wanting one for years - is this the start of many? Likely so... laugh

oh man perfectio....you are in for a fun ride. The bug bit me a few years ago when I got a new garage. I said to my wife, "I'd just like to get 1 gas pump for the corner over there and maybe a sign or 2." I've got 12 pumps now and countless signs plastered over the walls and hanging from the ceiling. I like to call it a desease you actually don't mind having....

Only 8 currently, but I see several more in my future. I too only wanted one or two to put outside, then I got Jack's book and WOW, there were just so many cool pumps! As soon as I found one I would find another I liked. Only problem I have is they aren't cheap enough. Guess it's better than a drug habit though.

I got started in the hobby a little over 5 years ago, I have been hooked since! I currently have around 80 and hope to pick up a couple more over the weekend. I always regret selling pumps and have even gotten a few back in the past.

LoL
I lost count the last time I counted it was between 200 and 300 pumps and they are stored in four different states!
I have sold a lot this past year but still do not know how many are left! The crazy part about it I am always looking for more.

WOW Rob! I currently have 25 in my collection and another 15 or so for sale. I need more room so I can keep more. I usually sell around 10 pumps a year. They just keep coming back as I buy others to replace the holes from the ones I sold.
