I have heard the best way to ship large porcelain signs is putting it between two pieces of plywood. Can someone tell me if this works & what size plywood. Any info would be appreciated.

I 've had some shiped to me. 1/4 IN. with 2in. fur strips between sheets around edge. Allways gets here in great condition.Cover sign with sheet of bubble warp. and stamp to ship on edge. Just looked at one that came recently 1in. fur strips, I would use 2in on high dollar signs this was 60in.x11in.steel sign ,put total thickness at 1in. and 1/4. Heard some companys charge more if you get thicker than this. I don't ship just receive, hope this helps.
