I do not know how it was supposed to go, but I think it goes the way I have them because the nozzle can not be locked if it is on top of the arm. The nozzle should be pushed forward a little more untill it is in the flat area, then a pad lock can go through the hole to lock the nozzle. If the pump is on with the lever down (still do not know if pump is on with lever up or down)then the nozzle can sit on the hook at the end of the arm and leave the pump running if needed
