I bought this tok 39 short awhile back and I finally got time to work on it a little.

I liked the patina on the sides and the color, It matched my rough Ashland products sign. I didn't like the color of the doors so painted and aged them.

Then I hand painted the Ashland Fling Octanes logo on each side. I think it turned out pretty nice. What you all think?

Oh yeah since I've got this done, my cousin( who collects Ashland stuff too) commissioned me to do an old Chevy truck door w/ Ashland on it. Here's what I got so far.

Cool, wish you were closer, I would pay you to label my door on my old ford truck. Nice work.

Thanks for all the encouragement. I use enamel paint usually what ever is cheap. I think most of it is rustoleum, it seems to be pretty durable and forgiving.
