Connection was wavering just a bit on the 2 items previous and when my item came on and the connection was lost----You should have heard me scream NNNNnnnnnooooooooooo--all the way to Chicago!

When I bid on these proxibid auctions I prebid with my max I willing to pay. Then there is no problem on auction day.

Matt--As I was watching today(for several hours), it seemed as though they would start the bidding at a much higher number than was recorded as a pre bid. They can, of course, start it whever they want but I had the audio on and Dan was always given the starting bid from someone near the microphone and I'm assumming that it was the computer operator and he was using the highest bid offered and not the highest bid posted. Most of the time, this bid would be increased but several times in the auction, this starting bid would never be increased.
I hope you can see what I'm getting at here. This isn't ebay, where they use the lowest recorded bid and keep using your money to increase the bid until your max is reached!
I don't like leaving a high bid for this reason and I think their format has some flaws in it!

They will start the bidding at whatever the highest bid is, whether it is an onsite or an internet bid,, the high internet bid is the same as a being there bid... it is NOT like Ebay, ebay bids for you until your maximum bid is met,,all online auctions that I bid on are all the same..bids are bids...
GREAT SALE ONCE AGAIN DAN... WELL DONE..
