Hy-Flash I called them, sent them pictures, they went back thur there records and couldn't find product 777.

It says Pat Pend...maybe if the other side has the number to go with that and you can find its registration at the U.S. Patent Office. It would have diagrams and what it would be used for.

Dome lids for a 1930s or 1940s tanker. Very stream line design. Very cool the way they made thing back then.

They had a old tanker off a delivery truck at peotone & the compartment lids where exactly like the ones you have pictured. There where 3 compartments in the tanker.

These were sold by McDonnald and Morrison back in the 30s. They are shown in their catalogs up through the 1950s.
