Hello Guys,
Here I am again, I just finished a new diorama which I think you're gonna like. An old barn including 2 Tokheim gas pumps in it.

I hope you like it!

Which other pumps would you like to see build as a scale model? Any tips, ideas? Thank you guys!

Cheers!
Seb

You do a very nice job. I just found two short 39s at an old bulk plant in Texaco colors....

You do excellent work! I wish I had even 1/10th of your talent. I try to make dioramas of different stations but, mostly fail... LOL

The only nice looking one I have was already made for Texaco....

How large (scale) is this one, if you don't mind me asking?

Someday I would like to make or afford a "ready made" Associated Oil or a Tidewater Oil station diorama.

Hello guys, thank you all for the great feedback! Making models and everything that is somehow car related has been my passion since I was a Child.

About the boards. Every board of the exterior wall cover is cut by hand out a bigger piece of wood to recreate the old irregular way of cutting boards. Only 2 sides of the barn are covered and I had to cut 11 meters / 36 feet, (yes 36 feet!!, no miscalculation here!!!) of little boards to cover only two sides.

Most of my dioramas, like this one, are in 1/25 scale.
Here you see a pic of myself at work for you to get a feeling of the size.

Again, I want to thank "Thunder II" who gave me, many years ago, all the dimensions of the Tok 39 for me to build a replica. I finally never did. Instead I build scale models. It's not so easy to get access to good old gas pumps over here in Europe. Do you guys know of someone having scaled plans/drawings of old pumps? the fabricators maybe? or maintenance manuals maybe?

Or if you know of a gas pump collector over here in The Netherlands or Germany, would you please let me know?
I would love to go by to collect more dimensions of other old pumps for future projects.

Cheers!
Seb

Here you have also a few pics of the outdoor photo shooting

Man, I've got to say again that you do a really amazing job Seb. That last picture looks so unbelievably realistic! Really a good hobby. You've got me thinking I'd like to try making something one day. How long have you been at this hobby? You are very proficient. You should be proud.
