Hi All, First try at this web site so we will see how it goes. Recently received from my father-in-law some lenses and complete globes (Texaco) I want to complete some of the lenses with the glass rim/ring/holder thingamabob. First what the heck do you call that thing, and does anyone have any to sell. I just want to finish what he had started.

Hi John, There are a variety of globe "bodies" or "frames" as some call them. Certain lenses belong in certain bodies by design. An article about gas pump globe basics is called " A Touch of Glass " I recommend talking to a knowledgeable vendor about putting your lenses in a correct style reproduction body. See a list of vendors on our More Resources page. You can call Time Passages at 1-800-383-8888. ------------------ OldgasYour host and moderator

I have glass bodies, metal bodies and plastic bodies- original and reproduction. Measure the diameter of your lenses first. Ron Scobie rscobie@gaspump.com or call 651-653-6503
