I finally got the 2 pumps that I bought this week, all washed up and into the shop for cleanup and minor repairs! I had the Wayne 60 pretty well apart yesterday and spent today cleaning and working on it! I had both hips off and it was then that I noticed the ID tag on the pump? Now I know that a Wayne 65 is a double model but this is far from that and I'm wondering what the heck was going on that this would have been branded a 65?? Any thoughts?

Maybe that hip came off a double. One day I went to look at a Bennett 542 (Bennett 541 twin)and when I got there to see it, it was a Bennett 371 with an access door from a 542 so it had a 542 ID tag on it.

Matt--I'll bet you're right! I never thought of that because theres only one color of paint on this pump and it been on a farm the last 40 years.n I think I'll check with Jack Sims and see what he makes of it? Thanks--KEVIN
