Had a great year collecting, went to the show in Columbia MO, Spring Peotone, Columbus Oh, and Iowa Gas. Also got some nice things through contacts/ friends. Favorite can and globe. The can was shipped to me from Germany, it is a 1 liter size. I got the globe at Iowa.

Favorite two signs, got the 30 inch Gasoline off of Butch at Columbus.

And got the 6 inch sign from a friend of mine through the mail. (The Cathy Rankin calandar is also nice)

I only got one pump this year so this is it.

Here's my favorite buys from the past year. I was able to locate two of my favorite pumps in addition to the GMC sign and Neon Clock. The GMC sign is VERY rare and pre dates the 30" round blue and yellow sign that you normally see and the Neon Clock is an original Cleveland which were displayed in many stations and Soda Fountains.

Hello All,
Here are my two best finds of 2011. Both were bought from the same person in February. The Gulf Marine White globe is a scarce one, one of two posted within the last year found by Old Gas members. The Texaco double sided sign is dated 1935 and is well above average in condition.
I hope my BOTY for 2012 is a Mobil item, lol! smile
Take care,
Darin

Found this Extra Large 4x6 DSP Power~Lube Tiger about 20 minutes from where I work, here in Orange County, CA. Seller told me this Tiger had made it's way up from Texas, years ago. Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year of Hunting. CP

I had a real tough time picking only two items. The Case sign is all original and complete with all original can and mounting brackets never has been apart. It took a lot of effort to convince a fellow collector to sell it to me. It's a big sign 6 foot tall, unsure if I will hang it up and light up anytime soon. Very graphic and colorful.

The second item is an original rust free Wayne 60-S showcase pump. It's all complete, the previous owner started to take it apart to restore. I also had to convince him to sell it to me. Had it shipped from the east coast of Canada. You quickly realize how big Canada is when you have to pay to ship a pump coast to coast!

For 2012 I would like to find a few more showcases.
