I am guessing the extra trash on trash pickup day is from some of the homeowners not securing their trash on the curb.

We take ours to the dump, and they recently required that all open truck (pick-ups etc) are tarped to prevent stuff from flying off. They are caught and fined at the dump if there is no cover.

DITTO- I spent three years telling my grandson,they were just to look at and enjoy. Turning the light on holding him up to look and point and ask questions. Son came to pick him up other day and wanted to know how he talked me into letting him play with them. All I could tell him was I wasn't sure -but it was pretty easy.
