Just as the name implies. It is a piece of test equipment used for measuring High current readings(up to 800 amps) with a low range meter. Maximum 800 amps in will give a reading of 5 amps output. Old school equipment for data aquisition not used anymore due to solid state equipment taking its place. So basically it is a novelty piece good for some nostalgia. Value = scrap! Used many of these over the years working in a test laboratory.
