I am restoring a pump in the Phillips 66 style and I was wouldering abouthow much concern I should have about finding a Phillips 66 shield globe. Any thoughts? I also have heard they are rare and expensive ??? On a unrelated topic I have a wyne 70 with add panels in the sides and I am looking for a new side dues to bad rust. Thanks John

They are not common but due appear for sale at most shows and several times a year on eBay. I believe Scott Benjamin has one of each style for sale on his website. Prices for a complete undamaged example will be in the $500 to $750 range. The lenses are made of plastic and tend to crack at the mounting notches so it is common to find lenses with cracks.

John, I would second what Bill says about the globes and the price. Here is a link to Scott's website. I got lucky and got my pair at an antique mall for $225 for the pair. Good luck with your search.

John,
A couple of years ago Phillips shields really went up in price. I saw a few sell in the $750-$800 range! They're not common, but they aren't exactly rare either. The average price for the 4 good shields I saw sell within the past year is about $550.
