Hello gassers & greasers!
First time poster here.
My main reason for joining this forum is to find out exactly my grandfather was using for a animal feeder for so many years. Pictured below are the front and back of this ancient Shellane item. The third image is the serial plate that can be seen top center of the first photo. For at least 40 years my grandfather used this to put grain in to feed deer, turkey & squirrels on our family property. My query is to find out what Shellane used this odd shaped item for. I can only guess that it was used to house a few cans of oil. If anyone is able to supply any info or additional images it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
