My friend has come across this neon sign. He asked me if I had any information about it.

Has anyone seen a neon sign like this or is it a custom one?

Thank you!

Either a Fiberglass Repop or Maybe an original embossed porcelain Pegasus w/ neon added.

If the Pegasus is fiberglass or pvc plastic there are a few vendors on e-Bay selling them. Looks like someone bought one of those Pegasus's and built the rest of the sign around it.

I know where thats at, It looked like a put together in person, You had to climb over the neon Gulf letters to get to it so I didnt look close at the Pegasus to see how real it was...Frank

I think that might be an original porcelain horse. The fiberglass ones have more of the white highligting on different areas, such as the front legs and on the chest. Also where the tail meets the body is thin on the one in the pic, which leads me to believe it's porcelain. My fiberglass repro is pretty wide at the spot where the tail meets the body. At any rate I think it's a "custom presentation" of some sort.
