This is my first pump restoration. I know it isn't period or color perfect. I had learned some things while doing this and hope my second one will be better.
 B76 pump

Obviously I've made an idiot of myself by describing this as a B76 pump when all of you know that it is Bennett 646. My bad.

i dont see anything wrong with that pump. restore them as you want to, looks great!

Looks good! I can appreciate all of the extra effort and work involved in the masking. Which you did perfectly, as it's difficult when it transitions through all the different panels.

They did paint them this way in the Northeast marketing area from 59-63. The blue may have been darker, but I realy like the light blue. If I do a pump like this I would also do it on a tall pump,they look better than short pumps.
