I've never seen him before but I'm sure someone has!
Thats the nice part about this site--you get to see things that you normally wouldn't! Whats he made of?? Any markings on bottom?

He's paper mache. I also put a thread in the value forum but it seems like sometimes people skip those threads. I have a chance to buy him tomorrow and would like to be more sure of myself. I havent had him in my hands to examine the underside. Sure looks correct.

Jim, he looks great!

Too many years ago, a small repair garage in a small town north of me had a similar bear. We (first dad and than I) tried to buy him from the owner, but the old guy would just smile shake his head and say in a soft voice; "Thanks, but no thanks"... The guy was a sweet old guy and I didn't ever want to press the issue...

Well I got off track there, sorry..... I'm not sure if that bear is original, but I bet you it is..... I know I would love to have him in my collection!
