Hello all; I recently purchased an all original Tokheim 850 that had been repainted and motor removed about 30 years ago. I took the covers off around the clock mech as the chain had fallen off the crank handle. It had enough slack to reattach it but the hands do not move when you try to crank it. The mech is all there including the bell and all clean and excellent condition. The hands and faces are original and the mech does not appear to have been altered . Is it possible to turn the hands with the crank ? I don't want to force anything.
Thanks so much, Tom.

OK; Figured out how to turn the hands and reset them. I would like to attach a small motor to the shaft to turn the hands and ring the bell. I think someone had mentioned a small motor that can do that. Does anyone know what type to use ? Thanks.

Here is how I did it recently. Motor is plugged into a remote switch.

I get the motors at a surplus used tool supply.
