hello all. i am a newbie collector just getting started, so i dont know the best channels to find out info on some signs. i have 4 porcelain signs that must have identified oil wells- sinclair, mobil, sun oil and marathon. i would like to find out more details as to where they are from, how old they are, etc. any ideas? thanks alot!!

Anyway, the well signs usually vary in price from $50 to $100. The ones you have pictured are most likely from the 50s and 60s. Hope this helps.
PS- I have a nice 42" Texaco sign from the 20s. I'd sell it for $400 if interested.

hey... cool to see another local, too! i come from something of a legacy at ou, but im just a grad student. what you see is the entirety of my collection so far (i started as of saturday at the auction up in guthrie). send me a pic and some more info on the sign.. it may be a bit out of my price range, but who knows. thanks for the info about my well signs- i appreciate it!
