I know a lot of you guys out there send parts out to be chrome plated or just polish the aluminum but I was wondering if anyone has ever done any nickel plating at home. I've looked online and it seems like copper and nickel plating aren't too dangerous to do and the chemicals are easily available. Chrome plating has too many poisonous chemicals for me to want to attempt at home. Basically if anyone has tried the nickel plating themselves I was just looking for some tips on how to do it, and how happy you were with the results.

Seems pretty reasonable if it works. I would do some research before I purchased it though.

I am always looking for anything Texaco or Oklahoma oil and gas company's, also I am a newbie at seeking globes.
