Please take a look at these pictures and see if you can tell me what you think (or know) this is. A friend of mine had several of these given to him. I have not been able to find anything on the internet about them. There were no instructions with any of them. They are about 2 feet long and very heavy. It swings a couple inches both ways. we thought maybe it was something that bolted in the trunk of a car and shifted the weight when going around a corner.
This picture shows the unit with the plastic cover on it. It was riveted on, but it was removed to see what was inside.
This picture shows the bottom of the unit.
This picture is of the stabilizer laying on its side. You can see it cannot swing very far either way.
Anyone have any information???
