Walked around Brimfield Ma antique show today. It runs from today threw Sunday. The town turns into antique market three times a year. The show is made up of several smaller shows overlapping each other. Some dealers move all there stuff from one show to the next. It is crazy.
The two main shows today, one opened at 11am and by 1pm the hoard of buyers has left to go to the show that opened across the street. By 5pm both shows are closed up and 70 percent of the dealers are packed up and gone?

Well Mr Moxie besides the Shell globe and the old pumps I had to have another fire call box and a paint sign !!!
You know the fire box is 10ft. 4in without a globe, how is it going to fit in my house with 10ft 3in ceilings ?? What kind of an addiction do I have?

set up in green acres back left corner /orange trading co. at the show there are literally so many repops being sold as authentic and then the great stuff you find they literally are asking upt to triple going rate-- i have been picking the show for 12+ yrs have got some great things throughout the years, this year the prices are insane the pictures that you posted the guy with the trailer has been there for over a week and i think he has sold 2 signs. its a shame that people that dont know what the current going rate for a sign is have to make up with there mistake by charging 2X the signs actual value in some cases. this year if you didnt go you didnt miss anything special as of yet. thats just my opinion. the socony aircraft is 1500 good condition though. the veedol tombstone is twisted chipped 750- the shell globe is cracked bad at the bottom 800- the amoco shelf rack 2800- the pure neon is a repop face 1000- lennox sign 950- supreme auto oil 700- mobiloil keyhole i believe it was 2400- it is very fun to look and meet new people and 60 wayne if you are around green acres again back left huge setup come on back see us some auto stuff street signs - no gas oil signs though. good luck hunting.

I've been searching for that Lennox sign since the old Collectors Auction Services "Failed" to send me mine after I won it because somebody offered them more after the auction ended.
Any other ones out there, I just had someone hunt this one down at Brimfield and for the money $675. it is a bit much as the mounting holes are ready to break thru.

I agree most of the signs are over priced and in poor condition, but it is an antique show not a petro show where the dealers are much more knowledgeable about signs. I have found some great deals at the show that I am happy with. Have had a lot of fun running into people I know and talking about all kinds of subjects.
Saw lots of repos and will post some that I took pictures of, later under the repo section. Well got to go, taking my nephew to a movie. Post later.

I bought the Shell globe for 175. It has a chunk out of it that will not spread. I will add it to the other half dozen shell globes I have and enjoy it until I find one that is not broken in the 3-400 range or less, no rush. The last few I have seen of the British globes have been around 600, I think too much.
I liked the Lennox sign but I already have one. The one at the show was much better then mine and had the bracket. I talked with the guy in the trailer a good bit. Very nice guy, over all high on his prices but he is learning. He did have some quality items. He sold a fantastic early Budweiser sign and was flexible on his price.
Well enough talk, here are some more pictures.
