I won 6 pieces of NOS Tidewater Flying A Ad Glass in the original box over the weekend on Ebay....

(photo from the auction)

I know/(believe) that the glass is from 1956, right after Associated was dropped from the Corporate Banner...

The box reads:"FA. Gasoline Side Panels- for Toke Pumps"

4 pcs of glass are: 29-1/4" long x 3-1/2" wide....
2 pcs are: 24-3/4" x 3-1/8"

I am not well versed in gas pumps as much as I should be... I do have a couple copies of Jack's book along with PCM's and others... But, I have no idea what Tokheim pump the glass will fit in. I'm hoping that someone(s) here will share the expertise I lack?

My guess is Tokheim 900 & 1000 series gas pumps which dates them to 1962-66. Possibly the last lens made as Phillips 66 took over in 1965.

Thanks Dave.

I wonder if the glass was meant for an "East Coast" Station? At "our" station and others I visited on the "left coast" before the re-brand... Tidewater was absent on all items....

No matter what the circumstances, the glass will look great alongside my other Tide Water and Flying A ad glass....

Wonderful and efficient use of that space there. smile The kind of wall you could visit again and again and find something new.
