I picked these bottles up tonight I bought them cuz I havent seen bottles like these but Im wondering if these are real or just fantasy things ive seen the lids like on these but not the bottles the mobil had a price tag of 125 thought that was crazy but like I said dont know much bout these what would be the proper name or are they just called oil bottles also picked up an old gargoyle wooden crate pretty nice also thanks for ne advise on them

Those are European style screw cap oil bottles. While USA oil bottles are usually quart size, Europe has smaller sizes.

Are those decals or are the logo's fired on paint. If they are decals I would be a little skeptical as the decals are near mint while the bottle caps show a lot more wear. Bottles also appear to be shaped like foreign ketch up or pop bottles.

I have not seen foreign oil bottle shaped like that also why would the two bottles have different style caps. These are just a few observations as I have no direct knowledge if they are real or not.

No decals maybe fired on logos First time I seen ne bottles like it after looking on Canada eBay an stuud they have sum like these I also wondered why they had two diff lids but I just sold my Mobil and am still regretting letting it go but I couldn't find ne thing about these on the web until I was pointed in the direction of foriegn bottles
