I have several 6" and 7" mounts that I useto anchor the globes I have on display, but I have a Standard Flame Globe with only a 5" throat (screw on type) and am looking for suggestions on how best to secure it to a display shelf? Any experience or thoughts?

Find a friend with a metal lathe and make a globe ring, or use the top of the flame base that orig. held it to the sign.

Rather than making a whole new holder...a machine shop could easily cut the center raised area on an existing globe holder off on the lathe or mill so the smaller diameter flame will fit down to the bottom and the screws are probably long enough already.
