Matt, that looks awesome. How hard is it to find a nice clean Erie like that and how much? I think, I'm going to order one of those tops just to have in case i run across one of those pumps.

We also got a top for the Erie 71 that my class and I are working on from Dwaine Buck.
WE ARE STILL LOOKING FOR AN ORIGINAL!
However, I think the resin top is a great substitute until we can come up with an actual glass top.
P.S. -- The chipped paint that you see on the botton of the sheet metal is from where it bolts onto the cast iron top of the inner pump frame. The chips don't show when it is assembled on the pump -- Whew!!
