Ok,I know many are coming,and we all know db is not! But with all the different posts going on,I figure it's that time! Iowa in just a bit over four weeks away!so..... Who all is gonna be there?THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH! Hot or not,we are a comin!if real hot,I may cut it short by a day,but plans are to be there tues afternoon,evening till Friday.got things to drop off and got things to pick up! And of course we got to have the annual old fart... Er I mean oldgas( is that a simile?) picture!Dick,we are gonna miss ya,but believe me you will be talked about!(good?bad?). Iowa gas 2010  And please..feel free to post your favorite pics from Iowa shows past!

Unless the 'best laid plans of mice and men' go awry, and they could, I'll be there. Went for 5 or 6 years, now it been about that long. This will be the first time at the Holiday Inn. Much better, if the heat gets to me, cool down time no biggie.
I am in need of parts from a Wayne 866 or 871 Clock mechanism or or parts pump. I specifically need the brackets that hold the clock as well as the reset assy and reset knob. Look at what you have and contact me. I need some internal parts for the clock mech as well. Also like to get an 8 inch Veedor root computer and maybe a 36B or Tokheim 34 complete pump

Planning to attend and just sent off the registration and hotel booking. Don't know what I'll be bringing down to sell quite yet, but will definitely be bringing some signs and maybe a gas pump or two? Booking tables in the ballroom.

I won't be able attend now. Landed a couple good sized projects earlier today and having guys on holidays this time of year stacks these new projects on top of others and will keep me here working like a dog. As my dad always taught me, make hay while the suns shining and these are some good sized projects.
Will have to make it next year!

Joanne and I will be there buying/trading again for the 10th year. Looking forward to seeing everyone surviving the heat, then enjoying the room to room swaps where it's always relaxing and much cooler. Everyone have a safe trip! Ok to all who want to be in the "Iowa gas,oldgas picture" I want to make a suggestion.since many of us will only be there for one day,how about we take two pics. One on wednsday and one on thursday?that way if you do miss one,you can make the other.then both can be posted.so I'm thinking high noon,on those two days,over by vending spaces 22/23,more commonly known as " da shade"don't know if we are allowed to call it that since paddy won't be there!lol
So,take a quick break,and let's see how many oldgassers we can get together all at once.have to set a new record!and mr oldgas hisself,jim potts is even gonna be there.and I'll even bring a case of cold beer on wednsday ,so you can have one if you like.even hoping to bring some peaches!

Finally loaded! 6 gas pumps, a pole sign and numerous, numerous boxes of stuff to the point that there is "NO ROOM" in the cab for anyone but me! Good thing the warden wanted to stay home!
She said she had so much fun last year that she thought it would probably last her for at least 2 years! LOL
