I think it might not hurt for you to ask around and see if there is a collector near you with globe knowledge that can do a show and tell on them with you. It never hurts to have a mentor. I think I had replied to a previous thread of yours and answered like questions, so I think you're at a point where a hands on tour of a collection would be very helpful for you. It sounds like you have a continued interest in globes, so as mentioned before, get the books, read them, gain your knowledge at shows, petro auctions, etc.
