We were really in need of some rain for this area and last night we got a good shot of it. I live about 5 miles east of the town of Devils Lake and I received about an inch last night but the city was direct in the path of a huge downpour and got about 3 inches within about 20 minutes! Heres some pictures of what it looked like last night!

Wow, that flooded quickly.
We got 10-12 inches of rain in about 36 hours about a month ago and had terrible flooding.

We could really use some rain here, but that much at once would cause problems anywhere.

YESSIREE, that happened here 2 years ago and 5 flooded houses are being torn down this week from the damage just on one street where there was a low spot. Wouldn't 3" of rain in 20 minutes be equal to 3 FEET of snow? LOL!
