ebay link to theft from oldgasDon't buy that CD... those photos are from oldgas album and are free for members to look at. click here for oldgas albumI looked at the photos used on ebay and they all are from oldgas album. Jim and Bob had permission from Scott B. and Dan Matthews and collectors to use those photos. Those are oldgas photos and not to be used making CD's. This stuff makes me mad!!
Looking for anything from Hoosier Pete, Platolene 500 and Red Bird.

I'm surprised that someone hasn't slapped him/her with a lawsuit or charges for copyright infringement. They are infringing copyrights for some pretty big players/companies such as Playboy, Herman, Peanuts and ect.
It never stops to amaze me the level some people will fall to simply for money!

I have filled out the form and submitted it to eBay for copyright infringement. Stealing someone else's stuff seems to be no big deal to this guy.

Joe, I recognized some of the photos in the picture and went back to see if they came from oldgas and sure enough.
What the guy doesn't know is Scott Benjamin and Wayne Henderson are about to come out with a CD with over 5000 globes and company histories and prices.

The real Globe Book is just short of completion! I am doing some final proofing, cramming some last minute stuff in. There are right at 5000 images, a greatly expanded history section, and a new globe numbering identification system that I think will make it easier to describe and compare globes. We are taking orders, with shipment before September 1. Watch PCM for more information.

CD's will save the printing problems & cost, But can you stop the Scammers from Copying & selling Copies of your hard work?

The eBay infringement authorities have removed the auction of stolen globe images on CD. Big thanks to John Jarvis for the keen eye and helpful warning. Watch www.pcmpublishing.com soon for the new legitimate Gas Globe CD that will have 5000 globe photos along with lots of info. That will be a super resource that everyone in the hobby should have. And yes, we'll have to watch for people trying to illegally copy that too.
