I went to Fred Stokes Gas Bash today. It was really fun. lots of great gas pumps and related parts. I bought a few toys also. I am going back tomorrow to spend more money and talk to great people. Thanks Fred for a really good time.

Great show, great location! Everybody seemed real friendly. Big thanks to all that made it happen! Lots of real nice toys; saw 4 different Chevron/Calso signs I would really like but looks like I might be priced out of the hobby. Oh well, the thrill of the hunt is the fun part anyway!

Got to the Bash late (10:00 AM) on SAT. Too BAD most sellers left by 9:00 AM. During my short visit , I got to meet :

1- Slama, and Neil Gerrard. One can have a week-long conversation with both!
2- Robert Porter (the west coat sign dealer) + Roy Reed! Love asking Roy about the history of petroliana …
3- Finally got to meet Sir Tom Stover. What a great person to meet & learn from. Both Tom & Fred are so accommodating and made me feel right at home. Tom told me I missed a great dinner held at super collector’s house! Oh well ... Hopefully, next year … (have been saying this since 2006).

At any rate, got couple of pictures for ya … It was tough to take pictures + talk + hunt at the same time. Could not concentrate since time was running out as folks were leaving …

Tom told me that Tim (tjhvintage page 3) has taken a lot of pictures. Tim was driving back yesterday, so hopefully, he can get to his camera & share the pictures with us.

Vintage one-piece Husky Lense!
