Jeremy, I would wait until you have pretty well picked the site clean before posting photos of the station which may identify its location. Anyone with a computer or access to one can go onto oldgas here and read about your good fortune. Unfortunately there are always less than scrupulous people lurking along the fringes who don't have morals when it comes to fraud or theft. ps. Your curved porcelain pump plates were made for round gas pumps roughly from 1930 to 1943 or thereabouts. The guys here can give you an accurate range of what they are going for in today's market.

I had some photos of it on for about five minutes...Then relized what I was doing. I never thought about locals being on the forum but they could be. This area is full of people like the ones you describe. Thanks Don I apperciate it!

I dug up another 42 inch single sided Texaco today from the same spot. I took some photos of it being dug. Its rough..the tree roots did damage over the years. If anyone wants to see the pics let me know & I'll post'em.
