LIKE I SAID, I ONLY HAVE PICTURES AND THEY DO NOT LOOK AT ALL DARK BLUE.
I CAN SEE THAT RICK'S SIGN IS/WAS BLUE. ONE SIGN IS IN A BOOK THE OTHER FROM THE INTERNET. BOTH APPEAR TO BE BLACK. LIKE I SAID. I'M JUST SAYIN' WHAT I'M SEEING WHETHER IT'S TRUE OR NOT.
I GAVE KZ1000 WHAT HE WAS LOOKING FOR...DETAIL. NOT COLOR DISCREPANCIES! OK...whatever...you win....feel better?

Smelly Amish guy, huh? Man... I wasn't even wearing my hat!
Seriously, though, it was great to see you again, Paddy. We had a great time!
You should wear that hat and cover that bald spot on the back of that big head...OBTW deodorant is not a sub for bathing.....smelly, hungry amish guy.

GOOD POINT PADDY, BUT WHEN SOMETHING IS REPRESENTED AS BEING AS BLACK AS THE BLACK IN THE OTHER SIGNS ON THE PAGE THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO BE BLACK, WOULDN'T YOU THINK THAT IT WAS BLACK? IMAGINE, IF YOU WILL THAT YOU NEVER HAD THAT REAL SIGN IN YOUR HANDS (LIKE ME) TO GO BY. MY EYES MAY NOT BE PERFECT, BUT I'M NOT COLORBLIND. DONE HERE...DID MY PART. YOUR WELCOME.....NITEY-NITE.......zzzzzzzz!!!

THE ORANGE IS BECAUSE I SHINED A BRIGHT LIGHT ON THE BOOK FOR A QUICK PIC. THE ISSUE IS NOT THE ORANGE, IT'S THE BLACK. THE SIGN IN MY BOOK IS RED WHITE AND BLACK.
KZ1000 SAID "I would love to get a picture of the same sign to see the detail in the soldier." I GAVE HIM A SHOT AND I GET COMPLAINTS ABOUT COLOR.....SO I FIX IT. WHAT DOES THE COLOR HAVE TO DO WITH DETAIL ANYWAY? your the one that kept making an issue on the color...kept saying that there was two versions of the sign...and you wanna argue with someone that owns the sign and has seen many of them and your using pic's from a book and the internet!... whatever...you win...as aways you have one uped another collector with your knowledge. now stop your crying ...the sky is blue most of the time...isn't it?...

Dick do you have a problem with me wondering how the sign looks cleaned up. All you guys ever say is do the research, learn as much as possible about the signs. Thats all im trying to do. I owned one of these a guy on here just a few days asked about one that sign was one i owned its the one that got away in my picking story. I sold it for a killer profit not knowing that it would be maybe the only time id ever own a doughboy.
