Most common found Wadhams sign that turns up quite often. These are missing the 20" wide pegasus shield attachment sign that is always missing (and often mistaken for a truck sign). That attachment sign mounts on the four holes in the field and two bottom edge holes.

Thanks for the info! Do you know what year this was made approximately? Do you have a picture of one with a Pegasus attachment?

Used in the 1930's. Two signs were mounted back to back with a spacer in between.

wow cool ! These signs were found in the attic of an old house where i bought them. (chassell Michigan) Trying to find out if there was a wadhams station around the area here. Were all of the stations the same style as in the picture?

Wadhams had stations with this theme that were much more elaborate....this is about the most simple of these "Pagoda" stations.

Wadhams had a bulk plant in Hancock....as well as one in Amasa, and Marquette and some other U.P. towns. So there must have been a number of stations in the area.

Google Wadhams Oil Co. and you will get a wealth of information on the company.
