So my brother in law, whom I've told a thousand time to join Oldgas so this won't happen, calls me today and says "Steve I think I messed up". He tells me he is the one who put the $150 bid in on this and he now thinks it may not be real.
The one thing I noticed is there is no trade mark of any kind below the "T".
So, Real or Fake?

REPRODUCTION!!!!!! I emailed the seller and told him it was a repo. It is dated 1990. Texaco only made that sign 1945-1968. Tell your brother in law to cancel his bid.

Tell him to cancel his bid, unless he wants a repro! It's marked 1990!

How about "not so old"! The date tells the story "5/21/90"

Steve, if I am not mistaken, your Brother-in-Law can retract his bid... Again, if I remember correctly, he will be asked why? Noticing that the sign is NOT original.... is a valid reason....

You can buy it from gas pump parts vendors cheaper then his opening bid of $40.00.

who ever made that sign, I don't think they were trying to decieve anyone- its dated, they used the blk T, no
reg T.M. under the T... cool
