Please tell me this is real!! I think it is awesome!! Unfortunately out of my budget. But very nice I thought!! This one has to be real. With the Pam sticker on the back and all. I just wanted to share for those who may not have seen it on ebay.

When someone says something is "new" I often wonder if they mean it is NOS (New Old Stock) or if it was just made..i.e. new. I have never seen one before...i would lean toward fantasy item. But, for a fantasy item, it is nice. Wonder what they mean by the "rare 1957 Dalamation running with the hat?" The used thatg in print ads and some paper window displays....but not on a globe or cloack that I am aware of. Hope BlackT checks in with an opinion.

Wow! You guys are killing me. Is the clock a real Pam? Did you see the sticker on the back? And St. Rod saying that about reading is correct. I was so caught up in thinking how cool this looked, I blew right past that.

Not to hard to put a new face in a old body. It isn't hard to put a sticker on a new body either.. Just saying..

That is a fantasy piece. Never seen an original round Texaco Pam clock. Seen an original square Texaco (65+ logo) Fertilizer clock.

One of the things I had noticed right out of the box was that the logo wasn't centered. If you look at where the shaft exits through the "T".
Just for my education, is the Pam writing at the bottom of a real clock on the face or on the lens? I can't tell in these photo's.

It's on the glass face. Undated fantasy/reproduction faces are readily available with the lettering. Don't use that as a bench mark to establish fakes from original clocks.

I look at the name at the bottom..date etc. Compared to originals new ones are different.

C'mon! Its totally fake. They just get an old jewelery or insurance clock, throw out the old face put on a new "Cool" face and walah! A genuine fake Texaco clock.
