Hi, I am planning to restore a pump as Mobilfuel Diesel, but I have been given different hints on what colors the pump should have. Late 50's is the time period I have choosen. Would appreciate paint codes if possible.
Anyone have the answer to this?
Thanks in advance,
Claes

its your pump , paint it any color you want , i bought 2 wayne 70 about 5 years ago they were both differant , some were all red , some were white sides an top / red doors , and just the oppisote, it was up to the station manager , mostly . when i worked at a seaside station some pumps all red , some all blue . or yellow , theres nothing in a book that says you have to paint this pump like this , good luck , and have fun with it ,

Yea I know...but I don't want to paint it just any color, I want the colors of Mobilfuel Diesel :-)
I am trying to "create" something that looks like a Mobilgas station of the late 50's.
So, what was the color of the Mobilfuel Diesel pumps?? :-O
Keep on pumpin'
Claes
