Archer is my last name and that was taken on another site somewhere, Archer2 was not taken so I used it and it follows me around sometimes.

HoneyBearFarm is a name my wife and I came up with many years ago.
"Have you had your honey today".
We also use it as our e-mail address, eBay name, and anywhere else a name is used.

Have a great day,
Buddy

Always looking for Standard Oil of Indiana, or any globes!

My favorite body style car in the 80's was GM's G-body platform. After having my first decent paying job in 1989 (which is where I'm still employeed) I had the opportunity to purchase a used 1984 Monte Carlo, but it was missing the looks of the SS model introduced by GM in 1983. After reading many Hot Rod & Car Craft articles and viewing some awesome transformations. I was moved to start a restoration on my own 1984 Monte Carlo "SS clone". The transformation did turn out very well, and others must have thought the same because the car was stolen during the night on Labor Day weekend in 1993 while visiting the in-laws in Rockford, IL.

I'm happy to say that I have now been the 2nd owner of an ORIGINAL 1988 CHEVROLET Monte Carlo SS with 5,7xx miles for the past 19 years and therefore is my answer to How/Why I choose my username as I believe it fits!

18 plus years in the Industrial Gas business/Home heating fuels/welding supplies....everytime I would show up somewhere I would hear "the gasman" is here, so it stuck. Matt "mattthegasman"

Everyone thinks I from Florida, but born and raised in eastern Oregon and Washington. The name gator was given to my wife and I because once we start something we don't turn loose of it. 75 pumps and 200 globes later I guess the name fits. Richard

My parents gave me mine. But, can I take this thread one step further? Why did you all choose the picture for your avatar?

Mine is of the last ship I was on before retiring from the Navy reserve. It's a fleet oiler, USNS Guadalupe. We floated in the Pacific with about 7 million gallons of fuel.
